Superteam Canada has jumped into its second month of existence, now being represented by 23 legendary members, lots has happened!
Hackathons & Live Events
This month, we put a huge spotlight on live events and preparations for Hackathons, with Breakpoint and Radar (Colosseum hackathon) front stage. We've hit some awesome milestones, and we're just getting started. Missed out on the action? No worries—check out the recap video!
Breakpoint may be behind us but Superteam Canada is just getting started. Across Canada, we’re hosting some epic live events, including the ongoing Toronto Build Station. In addition, our Canadian community is repping strong in the Radar Global Hackathon, including our local Canadian prize track.
Superteam Canada IRL Events
Talking about Breakpoint never gets old - but September had us repping the Great North across the globe! We hit up Bali for coworking, and back in Singapore, our team was out in full force, hosting booths and connecting with the community. And of course, we couldn’t resist a meetup at Tim Hortons! Also can’t forget the Honeycomb: Hack Prep on September 18th!
1. Coworking
To kick off the month, we linked up with the Lucid Drakes (co-founded by a Superteam Canada member, Metapsilo) for co-working and a Founders dinner. Building a network and connecting with builders from around the world! It was an incredible opportunity to collaborate and share ideas!
2. Founders Dinner - Bali
Founders from across the globe were brought together once again in Bali for an amazing Dinner. Good time to connect, get to know each other more, and of course to enjoy the food!
3. Member Hosted Dinner - Toronto
Now on September 12th, our stellar Superteam Canada member Jashan hosted a delightful dinner, uniting Canadians in the Solana Eco for a fun evening. It's fantastic to see our members take the lead in organizing events, helping us strengthen our community. Big props to Jashan for his efforts!
4. HoneyComb: Hack Prep
On the 17th, we hosted an insightful Hack Prep Workshop with Honeycomb Protocol! Participants gained valuable tips on standing out in hackathons and learned efficient development techniques to advance their projects. The atmosphere was vibrant, fostering collaboration and creativity. Thank you to everyone who joined!
5. Tim Hortons Meetup - Singapore
During Breakpoint we SHOWED UP proudly and in style in front of Canada's most beloved coffee place, Tim Hortons! Look at all those SuperteamCAN hats!
6. Breakpoint - Singapore
What a glorious event, and did we Canadians show up? Of course we did and with force! Many of our lovely Superteam Canada Members were hosting their own booths at BP, such as the MonkeDAO both, and many many others. We showed up strong this year and expect to do so every upcoming year too!
6. Community Call
Nearing the end of the month, we held another Virtual Community Call with our cherished Canadian community. During this call, we discussed how Superteam operates, recapped highlights from Breakpoint, announced upcoming STCA events, and shared valuable Hackathon tips and tricks for participants. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect and engage!
7. Hackathon Bootcamp: Accel Workshop
With our focus being on Hackathons and pushing Canadian teams to not only participate but have a solid chance at winning, we hosted a virtual Hackathon Bootcamp to bolster teams/individuals in their Hackathon journey!
8. Build Station - Toronto
The week long co-working event was an absolute blast, with attendees going through daily workshops and mentorships, we provided the perfect mix for attendees to be confident in their next Global Hackathon by Colosseum!

Canadians are showing up for the Radar Global Hackathon like never before - with 130+ teams registered so far. We’re excited to see the final submissions and results.
Canadians Everywhere
This month our presence worldwide is in itself a WIN! We've been all over spreading the good ol' Canadian vibes and showing the world that this Superteam is one to keep an eye on in terms of growth, active member participation, mentorships, and of course the plethora of events we host!
